Pantoprazole 40 mg + Domperidone 30 mg Sustained release capsule
Mode of Action
Pantoprazole – Long acting Proton pump inhibitor offers that decreases gastric acid secretion
It works by inactivating (H+/K+)-ATPase function in the stomach
Domperidone – Relieves nausea & Improves gastric motility Esophageal sphincter tone, normalize peristalsis and restores antral and duodenal contraction
Indication – GERD, UlcerativeDyspepsia, H. Pylori PositiveDuodenal Ulcer, pepticulcer, NSAID induced ulcer
Dosage – once daily
Side effects – Headache, nausea, joint pain
Contraindication – kidney inflammation, liver problem
Drug interaction – Warfarin, Iron supplements
