Description: Lazovin 600 contains Linezolid, a powerful antibiotic used to treat a range of serious bacterial infections. It is effective against multi-drug resistant bacteria and is commonly used for infections where other treatments may not be effective.

Indications:

• Nosocomial Pneumonia: Hospital-acquired pneumonia caused by resistant bacteria.
• Bacteremia: Bacterial infection in the bloodstream.
• Septicemia: Severe infection leading to widespread inflammation and organ dysfunction.
• Bone & Joint Infections: Infections affecting bones and joints, including osteomyelitis and septic arthritis.
• Diabetic Foot Infections: Serious infections in the feet of diabetic patients.
• Infections of the Skin & Soft Tissues: Includes severe skin and soft tissue infections like cellulitis and abscesses.
• Urinary Tract Infections: Complex infections of the urinary tract.

Mode of Action:

• Linezolid: Works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping bacterial growth. It binds to the 23S rRNA of the 50S ribosomal subunit, preventing the formation of the initiation complex.

Usage Instructions:

• Take one tablet twice daily, or as prescribed by your healthcare provider. It is important to complete the full course of therapy as directed to ensure complete eradication of the infection.

Precautions:

• Drug Interactions: Linezolid can interact with other medications, especially those affecting serotonin levels. Inform your healthcare provider of all medications you are taking.
• Serotonin Syndrome: Monitor for signs of serotonin syndrome if taking with other serotonergic drugs.
• Bone Marrow Suppression: Regular blood monitoring may be required due to the risk of bone marrow suppression.
