Dosage:

Mode of Action:
Hatchback (Cefpodoxime) is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic with broad-spectrum activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial cell death. Cefpodoxime is effective in treating a wide range of bacterial infections and is known for its strong efficacy and safety profile.

Indication:

• Chronic Bronchitis: Effective in managing bacterial exacerbations in patients with chronic bronchitis.
• Sinusitis: Treats bacterial sinus infections, reducing symptoms and preventing complications.
• Community-Acquired Pneumonia (CAP): Used for the treatment of pneumonia acquired outside of hospital settings.

How to Take Hatchback:

• Take one tablet twice daily, preferably at the same times each day to maintain consistent levels of the antibiotic in your system.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water. It can be taken with or without food, but taking it with food may help reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.
• Complete the full prescribed course of treatment, even if you start to feel better, to ensure the infection is fully treated and to prevent the development of antibiotic resistance.
