Indication

DVT prophylaxis in…..Knee replacement surgery, Hip replacement surgery Medical patients, Abdominal surgery
Pulmonary embolism – In patient treatment, Out patient treatment
Dosage :
For DVT Prophylaxis 60mg once Daily
Contraindications – spine, brain operation, eye surgery, clotting disorder
Side effects – Difficulty with breathing, swallowing
Adverse Drug Reaction – black stools, bleeding gums, numbness
Drug interaction – Aspirin, ibuprofen, clopidogrel
