Dosage:

• Recommended Dose: One tablet once daily, taken preferably in the morning to avoid nocturnal diuresis (frequent urination during the night).
• Special Populations:
• Renal Impairment: Caution is advised; regular monitoring of kidney function is necessary.
• Hepatic Impairment: Use with caution; dose adjustments may be required based on liver function.
• Elderly: Typically, no dose adjustment is needed, but close monitoring is advised due to the increased risk of electrolyte imbalance and dehydration.

Mode of Action:

• Telmisartan: An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that works by blocking the effects of angiotensin II, leading to the relaxation of blood vessels and lowering blood pressure.
• Hydrochlorothiazide: A thiazide diuretic that helps reduce blood pressure by eliminating excess salt and water from the body through the kidneys, leading to a decrease in blood volume.

How to Take LARITEL-H:

• Take one tablet daily, preferably in the morning to reduce the likelihood of frequent urination at night.
