Cefpodoxime Proxetil is a 3rd generation cephalosporin inhibit bacterial cell wall synthesis and clear infection.
Indication
Lower respiratory tract infection, upper respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection, Bone and joint infection.
Dosage – 1 Tablet B.I.D
Side Effects – Bladder Pain, Stomach Cramps
Contraindication – Liver Disease, Clostiridiumdifficle Colitis
Drug interaction – Cimetidine, Ranitidine
